Next meeting
Our next meeting will be the Christmas party. Please bring some sweet or savoury finger food to share with the group.
Also, we do a Christmas card swap at the party. If you would like to join in, make a Christmas card ( any technique). Put in an envelope with your initials on the front so you don't get your own card back.
We are also having an informal show and tell. This is an opportunity to show off your work .Bring your butterfly embroideries and any other embroideries you may like to show to everyone.
Please bring your angels we will hang them on a tree to get us in the festive mood.

Empress Mills trip
Yesterday we had a coach trip to Empress Mills in Colne. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a fantastic welcome from the family who run the Mills. They looked after us by providing free refreshments. We also had a talk explaining the difference in products and how to use them. We all had fun searching through the mountains of fabrics and accessories. Also, some of us were tempted by the craft books.
We also had a great experience with the coach company Hollinshead. The driver was so cheerful and helpful. We will definitely use them again.
After this very positive experience let's look forward to lots of trips to exciting places in the future.
Suggestions please.

Today's hands-on
Wet felt
Today we had a fun session making wet felt items. Some people made butterflies and some of us made beads. Thanks to Sheila and Margaret for sorting it all out for us. Thanks Mary for bringing items for us to share too.
