The list has now opened for the workshop on 11th April. The workshop is held at the United Reformed Church Hall, Brookhouse Road, Alsager, ST7 2PA from 10am - 4pm, £40 for members, £50 for visitors.

A really interesting and informative talk today by Jane Thomas on the history of pearl buttons. They have been used by music hall performers and costermongers to decorate their clothing since the 1870’s and the Pearly Kings and Queens have dressed in their regalia since then to raise money for charities.
