Workshop Saturday 14th November

 This workshop will be “Needlefelted and Embroidered Landscapes “ with Maxine Smith.

Workshops are held at the United Reformed Church hall, Alsager, ST7 2PA from 10am until 4pm.

Price is £40 for members and £50 for nonmembers.

Tuesday 3rd November

 November’s meeting will be a hands-on with Ruth making embroidered bauble Christmas cards. You will need to bring 6 strand embroidery threads or fine perle (no 12) and your usual sewing kit. Ruth will provide the Aida cloth with a circle drawn on it. 

October meeting Rachel Davies talk

 Rachel excellent talk was a treat. She brought a selection of her stunning work each with a message stitched into it.

This jacket for example showed the weight of pressure on her shoulders teaching with her hands bound behind her back by regulations. At least that was the message I got.
