Nantwich Museum exhibition continues

Don't forget there is a textile exhibition at the Nantwich Museum.

It is on from 31st March to 18th June 2016.

Uttoxeter Quilt and Stitch Show

Today quite a few members went down to Uttoxeter to the Quilt and Stitch Show.

I'm sure we all had our favourite stalls, quilts and embroidery. There were some super quilts on show. I prefer the quilts with a vintage feel but that is just my preference.

We were delighted to see Margaret Horton's entry for the innovative quilt category. She used a bodice as her inspiration and it was beautifully made. She used some lovely techniques with dyed fabrics.

Rosemary's little friends

Rosemary has been doing her homework. She is going to show us how to make these little creatures at our next meeting.

You will need to bring scissors that can be used to cut fleece fabric and paper. You will also need to bring your usual sewing kit.
