Linus Quilts

Feel inspired?

Many of our members have made quilts for the Linus Project. Up until now the quilts needed to be made of cotton fabric and wadding . However, the requirements have eased and quilts can now be made with poly cotton fabric and polyester wadding.

Here’s some photos to remind you about some of the lovely quilts already completed by our clever members .

Sheila’s cushion

Here’s a very attractive cushion Sheila has crocheted. I love the colours.

If anyone has their work to show us send a picture to me .

Margaret’s exciting textiles

I never cease to be amazed at how creative and imaginative Margaret H’s work is. This work has been finished in the last few weeks.

The ottoman has been covered in hexagon patchwork. The attractive yellow cushion is also hexagons with lovely machine quilting.

The other cushions are made from dyed fabrics

. The colours are so lovely and of course there’s beautiful stitching.

Attractive Quilt

Sheila has finished this really lovely quilt for the Linus  charity. Even the back of it has an attractive design. Some lucky child will be thrilled with this.

Another tealight

Eileen has sent some photos of her finished tea light

Another success.

I love the sketchy look with her machine embroidery.
