HeadWrappers

Today’s meeting was to learn about the charity that helps ladies with hair loss to wear a scarf or headband in an interesting and stylish fashion. The charity sends out packs with caps, scarfs and headbands to cancer sufferers who are losing their hair due to treatment. Karyn explained how face to face or zoom meetings are arranged so different styles can be tried, and then demonstrated on herself without the aid of a mirror.

She then explained how knitted or crochet headbands could be decorated with ribbon, crochet or lace flowers, and we set to work making ornamentations.
