Ruthin Craft Centre

A wonderful quilt exhibition of work by Pauline Burbidge is taking place at Ruthin Craft Centre, Denbighshire at the moment.  The gallery space is good with plenty of room to stand back and admire the work and also good lighting.  Pauline has done a short video showing her working process and also there are files giving more detail and samples of materials she uses.  In the next gallery there is a display of ceramic animals, which are superb also.  Well worth a visit.

Ruthin Craft Centre,
Open daily 10am - 5pm admission free with ample parking

Have a look at Pauline's website for many more photos of her beautiful work.

Work in progress

Don't forget to bring some of your work in progress for everyone to share.

I'm busy making a crazy quilt . It's great to use old techniques and keep them going. It's also a great way of using up tiny pieces of fabric even old clothes. The pieces of fabric can bring back memories too.

Sales table

Don't forget to have a search for any unwanted threads, fabrics etc for our sales table. Every time something is sold the proceeds go to the group. The money will be used to help the group book interesting speakers, go on trips and to provide materials for hands-on sessions.

Also, it's great having a rummage through all the bits brought in.
