Requirements:
A pair of fabric scissors
A glue stick
An image of a landscape with bluebells (or use Raya’s pictures)
Material costs:
£5 for materials
£6 for a frame ( you can bring your own frame, approx. 35cm x 30 cm or 14 inch x 13 inch if the glass comes out of the frame easily, and there is a small gap between the frame and glass).
Cost:
£26 for members, £31 for nonmembers

The next meeting is a talk and demonstration by Raya Brown about her “Unique Wool Painting Technique “.
Great hands on meeting yesterday. Ruth and Sally kindly gave us the benefit of their knowledge of Otomi embroidery which is based on herringbone stitch. Many of us knew this stitch but hadn’t used it for a while. We all had a good stab at it. Many thanks to Ruth and Sally.
The workshop was a great success with lots of favourable feedback. Christine was a kind and generous tutor. Here is a sample of the work.
We are meeting on Tuesday 7th May for a hands on as advertised below. Don’t forget to bring your travelling books and sewing kit.
