Welsh Quilt Centre, Lampeter, Ceredigion

A couple of us visited the Welsh Quilt Centre, Lampeter. As it was such an interesting experience I thought you may be interested. Also, as it holiday time you may be visiting Wales and could visit too.

The first part of the museum is a shop where vintage collectables mix with Welsh tapestry blankets from the 1960s and 1970s. Local crafts are represented too.

In the museum part is a beautiful exhibition of antique quilts and then modern quilts that were inspired by the museum exhibits. It is a stunning exhibition.
