I’ve had notification of the TexStyle textile and stitch festival at Manchester Central Convention Complex on 14th and 15th March.
There will be workshops, talks, demonstrations, textile galleries and a marketplace.
Workshops are booking up quickly.

I’m afraid there is another change to the programme as the March speaker has cancelled. On 3rd March the new speaker will be Jane Thomas an expert on pearl buttons who will give us a talk on their history and use.
Ruth Turner has bravely stepped into the breach and agreed to give a talk. I’m not sure of the topic at the moment but I’m certain it will be extremely interesting. Thanks Ruth.
