Today’s workshop

We had a really super afternoon with Mandy Hague. Mandy had brought lots of examples of her work to show us. She also brought lots of interesting bits and pieces of textiles to inspire us.

We all started with a square piece of fabric and the idea is to build up a design from scraps of fabric, tape, ribbon etc. Hopefully by the next meeting members will bring their finished square for us to admire.

Many thanks to Mandy for sharing her knowledge with us . I’m sure we will be asking her to come again in the future.

Also, thank you to Sally who really delivered with lots of homemade delicious cakes and biscuits.

It was also lovely to see old friends but some new faces too.

Good news at last !

I am delighted to hear that Alsager Creative Stitchers will be resuming in September.

There were enough people interested so this is just to confirm that the ACS meeting is booked for Tuesday 7th September at 1.45 for 2pm start.

Please bring any travelling books that belong to others and any work to be passed on, also any green quilt squares. Don't panic if you've not done anything as you won't be the only one!!!!!
There will be no charge for the meeting but please bring a drink and some work to do as there will be no speaker of course but plenty to chat about and discuss,
